Aldie's PBIS Program

Aldie Elementary's P.B.I.S. (Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports) program,  "R.O.A.R.", provides incentives to encourage students to display the following characteristics:
 
Respect
Optimism
Achievement
Responsibility
 
Another component of our P.B.I.S. program, "S.T.R.U.T." encourages proper hallway behavior by demonstrating the following:
 
Self Control
Tall Posture
Respect Others
Use Caution
Talk Softly 
 
When displaying any of the above traits, Aldie students earn "Bobcat Bucks" that are collected in a classroom container...
 
Bobcat Bucks
 
Weekly, a drawing is held and one student from each class is selected by the drawing of a Bobcat Buck (students write their names on the bucks) and the winners meet in the Computer Lab to spin the Wheel of  R.O.A.R.
 
Spinning
 
Prizes include:
 
Treasure Box
Free Lab
Free Art
Homework Pass
Extra Recess
Golden Chair
Staff Lunch
and
Lunch Bunch
 
Winners are announced the following week on the Morning Show.
