Bridget Beichler
Professional Biography
 
Mrs. Bridget Beichler was born in Buffalo, New York and grew up in Altoona, PA. She is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Supervision and Administration from Shenandoah University. After teaching pre-school, kindergarten, and serving as a substitute teacher in the Altoona Area School District, Mrs. Beichler relocated with her family to Loudoun County in 1998. Mrs. Beichler taught second grade at Meadowland Elementary prior to her move into Administration as the Assistant Principal at Sully Elementary. She moved into middle school in 2004 when she assisted in opening up Smart’s Mill Middle School in Leesburg. During the past five years, Mrs. Beichler has facilitated the professional development of This We Believe and the Middle School Concept at Smart’s Mill. She chaired the School’s To Watch Committee as well as the School Improvement Plan in addition to her roles of special education contact, testing coordinator, team leader coordinator, and contact for SALTS.  Mrs. Beichler now joins the staff of Eagle Ridge as principal. She continues to keep her hand in teaching by serving as an adjunct professor with George Mason University.

 

Mrs. Beichler and her husband Kevin have three children; Ian, Heather, and Andrew. Both Ian and Heather are teachers in LCPS while Andrew is in his freshman year at Mary Washington University. While raising their children, Mrs. Beichler was active in the PTA, Partnership for Parks, as well as a soccer coach for her son’s AYSO and SYSA soccer team. Along with her husband, Mrs. Beichler spends her free time hiking in the Shenandoah National Forest, biking along the C&O canal, and kayaking the Potomac River. She enjoys taking her camera along on her outdoor adventures and spends a lot of time in getting just the right shot. Upon visiting Mrs. Beichler in her office, you may glimpse a picture of one of her hiking excursions.
