Loudoun Valley High School students got an inside look at South Africa from a panel of international experts during a forum on Friday, April 20th, at the high school.

Wed, March 14th, 7pm @ Tuscarora High School - The Piedmont Environmental Council (PEC) is bringing Louv- author of bestseller Last Child in the Woods- to give a lecture about the importance of connecting children (and adults) to nature and how it can foster healthier bodies and minds. Louv coined the phrase “Nature Deficit Disorder” to describe the disconnect from nature that today’s children have experienced and its impacts on their health, creativity and learning.
