Academic Overview

Broad Run High School provides a curriculum of studies in line with Loudoun County Public Schools and the Commonwealth of Virginia.

All students are encouraged to choose challenging classes to maximize their learning opportunities. Rigorous high school courses prepare students well for further education and successful careers.

Parents and students should consider the following when making decisions about which classes to choose:

previous performance in subject area
standardized test scores
commitment of the students
recommendations from teachers and counselors

The Office of School Counseling supports the academic program of the school by providing support, guidance, and opportunities for all students.
