PBIS at Little River Elementary School
2011-2012

PBIS is a process for creating safer and more effective schools. PBIS is a systems approach to enhancing the capacity of schools to educate all children by developing research-based, school wide, and classroom discipline systems. The process focuses on improving a school’s ability to teach and support positive behavior for all students.

This year we are introducing our new saying:  THERE ARE TWO Rs in RIVER:  RESPECT AND RESPONSIBILITY
Our motto may have changed, but our expectations are still the same!

 Interesting Facts:
Little River Elementary School adopted Positive Behavior Intervention Support in the 2008-2009 school year.

All students may be acknowledged throughout their school day with verbal praise or a "blue ticket."
