Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year at Legacy Elementary School! We are beginning our eighth year as a school and it is my distinct pleasure to continue to serve as Legacy's principal.

My name is Rob Duckworth and I am beginning my 27th year as an educator and my 23nd year as a school administrator. I graduated from Radford University with degrees in Elementary Education and School Administration and Supervision. I have taught in Virginia and South Carolina, and served as an assistant principal and principal in Blacksburg, Virginia. Prior to coming to Legacy, I was Principal of Algonkian Elementary School in Loudoun County.

My top priorities are student safety, providing an excellent education for our students, and fostering a solid relationship among the Legacy school community.It is a pleasure to be here and I look forward to opportunities to enhance the educational experience for all of our Legacy students.
