Music at Catoctin
What we do:
Our music program is available to students in grades 1-5 and offers opportunities for participation in a variety of meaningful musical experiences throughout the year.

When we do it:
These activities take place within the time frame of 30 minute classes twice a week as developed from a curriculum that consists of a well-planned sequence of developmentally appropriate experiences leading to clearly defined skills and knowledge.
Where we do it:
All classes are held in the music room (K-4) which is located in Pod 3.
Other Opportunities:
Sing-a-long: There will be opportunities for the student body to gather collectively and participate in musical gatherings.
Catoctin Chorus: Catoctin's chorus has established a fine reputation as an excellent performing ensemble and will soon be organizing for the school year. Rehearsals are held during the school day whereby all interested students have the opportunity to participate. Planned performances will occur at school related functions and within the larger Leesburg community upon request.
