Goals:

• Continue to exceed 95% pass rate for Middle School Science SOL
• Continue to experience no significant gaps among subgroups
• To provide a meaningful watershed experience
• To expand student science knowledge and experimental design by incorporating Loudoun County Core Experiences 
• To continue to enhance science knowledge through hands-on experiences, labs, and activities as related to real world application
• To instill excellent student safety habits in and out of the classroom
• To encourage inquiry-based education

Testing:

• Middle School Science SOL Test - 8th grade 
• School wide Benchmarks
• 8^th grade Mid-terms and Exams at Semester’s end

SOL support programs:

• After school SOL review sessions for 8^th Grade - 2nd Semester
• Use of Resource time for student learning needs
