ELL / Overview

Welcome to the new school year!

Mrs. Lally and Mrs. Soltani are thrilled to see all of the returning and new faces at Belmont Station. Our ELL department at Belmont Station offers a self-contained kindergarten class in the mornings. In the afternoons, we push into first through fifth grade classrooms in order to support the acquisition of academic and content-specific language. In addition to our morning and afternoon programs, we also offer small focused study groups as needed. Our overall goal of the program is to provide ELL students with instruction in English in the four language domains: listening, speaking, reading and writing. We are looking forward to another wonderful year with our diverse community of the BeST students!
