Welcome to Legacy

Elementary's Music Corner

All students in grades 1 - 5 receive a thirty minute period of music instruction twice weekly. Students are actively immersed in music through singing playing instruments , moving to music, reading and writing musical notation, listening, evaluating, and creating music. The music teachers are Ms. Allison Pearson and Mrs. Linda Murphy. Ms. Pearson is at Legacy five days a week and teaches grades 3, 4 and 5. Mrs. Murphy is at Legacy three full days, plus two afternoons and teaches grades 1 and 2. If you have any questions or wish to know information pertaining to your child, please do not hesitate to contact her. If you have a musical interest or talent that you would like to share with the students, please volunteer. They care about your child and appreciate your support of the music program. They are looking forward to being "fit and focused" in music!
