About Keyboarding.....
Keyboarding is a very important course through which students will learn one of the most important skills needed in today’s technological world. During the semester, the children will learn to touch type (no looking at their fingers), increase their speed to at least 15 words per minute, and demonstrate the correct way to write a report with a works cited page. They will also learn to do a personal business letter, outline, and memos with MicrosoftWord 2007. They will be introduced to Blogs, Multimedia Software (MSPowerPoint), and Spreadsheets (MSExcel). This year the students will use computer tools to virtually hike the Appalachian Trail, applying technology to learn about this locally accessible National Treasure.
